!!!Welcome Back!!!

!!WOW!! Its Monday I said to my self then I started jumping around and shouting'' it school today''. As soon I went thought the gate teachers were saying welcome back Rose then I said'' welcome back to''. After that I said to my friends ''hello and welcome back to school''. Then we get to go in our new class rooms and i had a look around it was so clean and wonderful. As the day goes by i was still happy that i had new friends that were year 7s they were funny and kind. I wish this year could be the best year ever.

My name is Rose I’m a year 8 here at Pt England school. I’m turning 12 this year. I live in Glen Innes that which is in Auckland. I have five sisters and one is my step sister and I like my new Teacher because she’s funny,cool,kind and fun and her name is Ms Tito and what i like about this school that its got good Teachers and has a very good,smart principal.

!!!!Athletics Day!!!!

On Wednesday the 10th of November our whole school had Athletics. It happened on our school field. Every year we hold our Athletics Day to find our best athletes,who goes and compete at the Inter zone athletics.

The sun was shinning through out the day.. We slopped on lots of sunscreen and before we went to our activities. Mr Burt said the karakia-which is a prayer in Maori Then PES athletics began.

My favourite part of the day was when we went to Shot Pot. I thought I was going to come in a place, but today wasn't my lucky day. I was disappointed that I didn't come anything but there's still (Next year).

Yesterday on the 17 of November all the year 7 got to do some simile task ,on the Google docs.Some kids couldn't get on the Internet,however Ms Nua told us to count to ten then click try again.

Fiafia Night Was Awesome!

Through out the last few weeks of term 3 we had been practicing for our FiaFia night. We had all ready sorted out our clothes for the night.

Soon it was Thursday everybody went into their holding rooms to have one last practice. The Niuean group were all excited about putting on their costumes.

On the night the hall was packed up with lots of people. We all came in and put on our costumes. So when we go we all ready to go on the stage.

As we went on the stage there were lots of people cheering for us and some adults came and put money on us.

I was so amazed when we got on the stage and performed. Everybody was shouting and cheering. I was also surprised I had $25.00 and had to give it to the school, to help us get school stuff. It was my first and best Fiafia ever.

Maritime Muesum

The Year 7 students went on a trip to Martitime Muesum.

First we all went to have morning tea. Then we went on the Ted Ashby boat I started to shiver. There was a very cold wind which blew my hair across my face. As we headed out on the sea, we went under the harbour bridge. We tugged and hauled with all our might pulling the rope so the boat can go faster.
As it started to rain some of us wore our big bright yellow rain coats.
