Fiafia Night Was Awesome!

Through out the last few weeks of term 3 we had been practicing for our FiaFia night. We had all ready sorted out our clothes for the night.

Soon it was Thursday everybody went into their holding rooms to have one last practice. The Niuean group were all excited about putting on their costumes.

On the night the hall was packed up with lots of people. We all came in and put on our costumes. So when we go we all ready to go on the stage.

As we went on the stage there were lots of people cheering for us and some adults came and put money on us.

I was so amazed when we got on the stage and performed. Everybody was shouting and cheering. I was also surprised I had $25.00 and had to give it to the school, to help us get school stuff. It was my first and best Fiafia ever.

Saying our Goodbyes and Wishes

Last Saturday my grandpa’s sister came over to sleep with us because she was going back to Niue with my cousin. We had a bbq for them our whole family was coming too it was exciting.

My grandpa gave his sister a big torch light and some batteries for when she goes out hunting for crayfish in the sea, at night. Then next time she comes back I hope she will bring some for us.

Why can't we have our own Pool?

Why can't Pt England school have their own pool?

Dear Mr Burt

Why can't we have our own pool? So nobody doesn't have to pay for the Glen Innes pools. Then we choose where we are going to put the pool. It will be a really good idea.

Getting our own pool for next year will be awesome so we don't need to walk down and up every day for term 4 and term 1 too. Pools at school will be great so who ever is paying for our fees at Glenn Innes Communities Pools now they don't need to. It will be fun for all of our school.
