On Sunday our year 8 boys went to Tauranga to played in the sevens rugby tournament . They went for 1 week and came back on Friday night 6:45 pm. There were 32 rugby teams that were there competing. They played 12 games and won all 12 games.Pt England rugby boys played their first game against Cambridge school and won by 38-5. Mr Burt made an announcement that they have won their first game and will be playing their 2nd game and hoping that they will win.
I was very proud of our Year 8 boys . My favorite part was when they walked in like champions and Jonty was holding the trophy in his hand. I felt like our school was famous.
