Taonga Time

Every Friday the y7 & y8 students go for an half an hour to Taonga time. Taonga time is a Maori word that means treasure.

We get split up into groups and we do all kinds of different things. Some of us go with Mr Barks to team building and some go with Miss Tito to Kapa Haka other things you can do is science and music. I’m with Miss V and we do sports. This week we had a look at Miss V rugby cards. The cards have instructions that shows you how to do a drop kick.

I like sports because you get to have fresh air and get to have fun. I wish i was in science instead of going to sports.

My Creative Name

The y8 & y7 student have been leaning about creativity for the last two weeks. Creativity involve art, skills and using your own ideas like doing something different like no one has made it before. We were given task to do was creative, so we needed to find creative letter off Internet to make our name.

Good

One of the things I was pleased with last term was my maths work. In my report I received good for my work habits, behavior and academic progress. I feel very proud of myself and so is my dad!

What I need to improve this mouth is my topic work. In my report I received Below Expectations for my work habits, behavior and my academic progress. I was very disappointing of myself. This term I really need to focus allot.

Heavenly Father,

I pray for the Parents that had there 5 mouth baby that had pass away and i pray for those love ones that died and the homeless family that have no power and no food,water. I pray for the church that was broken and for the people that are trap in the damage house’s and for the school the are close down.

I hope that those people that are safe and for the that are trap ones to get them out safely and i hope that they get food and water and get back safely.I ask you god to protected them to be strong.

My Statistics work...

This week we have been working on statistics. Statistics means to find information and to solve which one has the most and the less votes and that's the fun bit i like about statistics. They are called a column graph and a line graph.
